JULY 2018 TAROT READING: THE LOVERS & THE KNIGHT OF WANDS

What better, more fated card to pull than The Lovers? Or, perhaps, what worse, more painful card?
Regardless of your relationship status, when you flip over The Lovers in a reading, you have no choice but to feel the warmth that comes hand-in-hand with the archetype represented by these two lovebirds, and which is most closely linked with sexual union.
You know: that panty-dropping, logic-destroying, melty, soothing warmness of Love.
Before we link together the messages from the two cards the Universe has to share with you this month, take a moment to feel into that feeling. Perhaps you’ll first need to link it to a person or a place or a situation you’ve lived that most vividly bubbles it up. Will he crash and burn? Eventually. Does he deny the feelings of others in pursuit of personal gain? Sometimes. Does his temper flare up at the first sign of difficulty and he throw himself to the floor in a rage? Absolutely.
Since we know the path this Knight beats across the land to be a pot-hole-filled-ride of emotions, we must call upon our Lovers to help transmute our anxiety and rage into a more even-keeled openness.
This month the Universe gives you permission to go within and consider what your higher purpose is calling you to.
Do not let the anxiety of your relationship with others detract from your relationship with the Divine. The Universe knows that the feelings are there, they're potent, they can even feel crippling, but rather than letting yourself get carried away with flights of fancy or lust, this July do your best to re-route your energy towards your practice - whatever that may be.
